The nonnative plants can attract different birds. Can you just imagine having them around in your garden? Definitely, they are lovely to look at and the way they chirp will surely remove your stress away. From nwf.org, an article, which is written by John Carey states that the Asian honeysuckles are not just beautiful. They also provide fragrance. Because of this, many kinds of birds are attracted to the plant. However, they also have flaws. Because of them, there are many birds around which have spread the seeds and this creates dense thickets. As a result the native plants are destroyed. Perhaps, it is important to weigh both of the positive and negative sides of having the plants. They help the birds survive; but what will happen to the native plants? Which is more important? The birds or the native plants? This discussion is presented in the whole article which you may read here: http://www.nwf.org/News-and-Magazines/National-Wildlife/Birds/Archives/2013/Ecological-Traps.aspx
